Sway

Sway manufactures high-quality, gluten free baking mixes for pikelets (what we like to call pancakes), waffles, crepes, cookies and muffins. The company began when owner Faine Alexander son's experienced an intolerance to gluten. Faine had always enjoyed baking and experimenting with different flours and flavors so it was only natural for her to create home-baked gluten-free treats herself.

Faine, who also owns Tio Pablo, an authentic Mexican food producer in Auckland, wanted to create unique flavors that appealed to foodies. Often those who have special dietary choices or requirements have to miss out on the interesting flavors in favor of the one option that suits their needs. Faine has turned this idea on its head and we've got in their Lemon mix and orange and cinnamon waffle and pancake mixes as well as the choc orange muffins!

The mixes are designed to be super quick and easy with simple instructions to have warm pancakes, waffles or muffins on the table in no time. If you're wanting vegan or dairy free options that's just a matter of switching out the bits you add at home. When the recipe says add egg, butter or milk that can be swapped out for an alternative nut milk, soy, even an oil of your choice. For the real foodies among us, the mixes can be used as a base for all sorts of gluten free cakes, coblers, pie crusts and other amazing desserts.

Each batch is free of preservatives and made in small batches to ensure freshness and quality.
