Manuka Honey

Manuka Honey is a unique type of natural and delicious honey native to New Zealand which has special antibacterial properties. It is for this reason that many people use manuka honey for their health but it also tastes delicious!

We carry many different grades and brands of manuka honey which can be a little confusing at first, but bear with us! (and do contact us if you need help with your selection). 

To make selecting a grade a little easier, we have put the every day, general-eating manuka first (MG 50) followed by the slightly higher UMF 5+ / MG 83 grades. All of these manuka honeys are higher in antibacterial properties than other honeys and great for every day eating.

The middle of the range (and a good medicinal strength) are the UMF 8+ and 10+ ( equivalent to MG 260). And you will scroll lastly to the highest grades of UMF 15+ and UMF 20+ (MG 500 - 820) which are very high in natural antibacterial properties.
